Morning.
I have a part, thin walled one, prone to any distortion. It's a big case made of inconel.
I turn deep groove and then mill it into multiple hooks.
The question is. Is there any material in a form of liguid (or anything else) that becomes solid, which I could pour into groove and make it more stiff for milling ?
Something that would get solid fast (30min/1hour).
Something similar to 3M's putty paste:
3M™ ESPE™ Express™ STD VPS Impression Material Refill, 7312
