What alloy is a lathe turret atc made from?
Is it a mild, 4140, or a stainless? I am assuming its hardened.

What alloy and heat would you LIKE to make one from if anythingyouhavium is on back-order?

Or... if you are NOT going to make one?

The alloy is "Run what you gotium!"

And you DOO that "For f**k's sake."

Out of loyalty to "empty pocketium", "lack of time-ium", "don't actually have to giveadamnium". "common sense because it justf***kinworksium". "theOEMactuallyknewtheirshitium", "Mysterymetal-going-fastium"..

Some combination. Or all of the above.

Aero-gellium, silly-puttyium, honest-politicium, or horseturdium have short in-service lives. VERY!

And if you have to ass u me as to whether it is hardened NOW.. was never, or shuddabeenium and willbenexttimium?

"em-bare-ass-ium-with the boss-ium" may also enter... some orifice. Or another.

Probably one drilled freshly.

For the purpose of "insertion-of-brains-ium".

If "typical" is your goal? Then it is also "YOUR" tasking.
Grab yer "ten-key" ... or shed yer socks.. and do the math.

Go ogle only finds:

About 929,000 results (0.60 seconds)

More bare toes can be contracted inexpensively from the always-hungry-for-opportunity "Raskol", Port Moresby, New Guinium.

For f**k's sakeium!

:(

You could make a perfectly functional one from A36 (generic plate steel), case hardened and finish cut/bored/ground as needed. Case depth of ~.06" with a cut allowance of ~.01" - .02". Use CBN inserts if cutting.

It’s kind of amazing anyone bothers to ask a question here.
