No. of flutes on Haas NGC

Hi,

Today I was using a 12 flute slotmill, but when I loaded the tool in the machine (Haas NGC) I couldn't get the flute count to 12, it maxed out by 10 flutes. Does anyone know what's the deal with that? I think there are many more tools with a flute count higher than 10!

Input 6 flutes and double your feed/tooth?

it's not that the machine controls the feed with the flute count. It's only to see the right feed per tooth on the screen, which I like.

It is not a big problem tho, but it annoys me that I can't input more than 10

can't you just grind a couple flutes off the tool?
