What are you Brother C-00 High Accuracy settings?

Anyone here run their Brothers in the range of 400-500ipm with air cutting at 1100ipm?
What settings are you using for your M265/M285 parameters?
It seems like the default parameters are restricting the axes too much, the accel/decel values are to much. Making the program slow down considerably.
I'm used to the Hi-Cut Pro on the Okuma where it's very accurate at high speeds and doesn't slow down hardly at all at these speeds.

In Al:

M289
Roughing -- 288 to 384 IPM (3-flute EM's) leaving .03" on the walls
M280
Pre-finish -- 288 IPM leaving .005-.01" on the walls
Finish

The pre-finish pass does two things -- it lets me run the roughing (Dynamic Mill in Mastercam) without suffering the delays of the high-accuracy modes, and it smooths the Dynamic Mill scallops. I have seen cases where if I went straight from a Dynamic Mill surface to a finish pass, the scallops from the Dynamic Mill "shaded through" to the finished surface. No discernable tolerance issue, just a bit of visual impact. So, I run a fast pre-finish pass with M280 to knock the scallops down, then finish.

Regards.

Mike
