Who Makes Good Bolt On Tool Blocks?

Hello All,

I need to find good tool blocks for our new Haas ST20. Looking for the bolt on style to hold boring bars and other round shank tools. Please recommend a good brand and where to get them.

WTO. Can't speak to your specific application, but the VDI tool holders I've ordered are excellent. Better than the stock blocks that come with the machine I'd say.

Are you wanting to stay away from OEM for any particular reason? The Haas tool blocks are good in my experience.

Parlec in Rochester, NY was making them for Haas several years ago.

On a Mazak horizontal!!

Just seen an ad for Global that showed oodles of bolt-on blocks.
No idea what they bolted to, but Haas would be my #1 guess as the market leader (by numbers)

I'm fairly certain there are more BMT Okuma turrets than Haas has lathes in actual operational circulation.
