Good morning guys,
just curious, has anyone ran any of these WIDIA KM63 connection boring bars?
this will be used on a mazak QT450M lathe
50mm VDI connection to the turret
bar is a 2.5 diameter bar with a total 22.00 overhang. this bar is held by the KM63 connection. ( no split sleeve )
i am a little weary of the connection KM63 holding the weight and rigidity.
i feel more confident in a split sleeve holder set up..
what do you guys think?
