Doosan 240 X axis not moving

Our Doosan 240b machine will not move in the x negative direction, no present alarms and Z axis moves fine. any ideas?

Sure. How about a little more info? There are a lot of things that can inhibit axis movement. It does not cost extra to put in as much of the story leading up to the X not moving as you can.

What control?
Does X move positive?
Have a tool touch off arm or device?
What does the machine position display for X say?
Has the X been zero returned or does it have absolute encoders?

Sticky button on tool setter? If od measuring button is stuck it would do that.
