Very shortly I am going to try to get my round head f4 running.
When I got it all the gearboxes were empty.
The only info I have on lubrication is from the later model handbook.
DTE iso68 hydraulic oil is readily available, but DTE iso150 is not so common.

Anyone have any comment on what they are running in their machines?

Thanks
Peter

I have Mobil DTE 26 (ISO 68) in the feed gearbox and DTE 28 (ISO 150) in the main gearbox and vertical head on my F4, which is a square-head model. My F5 has DTE 26 in the feed gearbox and Chevron Rando HD ISO 150 in the main gearbox and vertical head. The F5 takes more than 5 gallons in the main gearbox, which is crazy, but it is what it is.
