I would make it bigger, ideally around the whole table and head, but the space is very confined and besides all my work is small; in the last 20 years there were only two or three jobs overhanging the bed. In any case the sides can be removed by loosening three screws. Front (plycarbonate) and back slide out. The bright colour is for safety: makes it easier to be aware of the table movement.

Nice. I need to do similar on my mill, will be easy now that I added a fixture plate with holes in the side and front.

It’s from Tosa Tool
I got it from a member here new in box. I paid $1000 for it, they go for $2000 from Tosa for 12x36”
