Hi Guys,

Are there Deckel FP3NC manuals and electrical schematics readily
available for this machine - it has a Dialog 3 cnc control?

Paul

Don't know about ready availability or free availability, can be purchased through FPS and Franz Singer in Germany.
Though the machines were built to a standard and have many similarities, each machine is unique, there were revisions over time-mostly to the control. Would suggest it is very very important that you get the "orange books" (documentation) when purchasing the machine.

There are 2 binders plus a bound book . One binder is a user manual and explains general layout/functions of the machine and very detailed info on how to run the control. The other book has detailed electrical schematics and prints, and includes notes in German on adjusting various electrical parameters and troubleshooting the control electronics. The bound book has mechanical drawings including part numbers of the major assemblies, including the spindles.

The parts book covers the FP2, FP3 and FP4NC all within the same booklet......
There is a version for the early "Camel Back " vertical head setup (3150rpm) And another for the later "Flip" head machines.

The operators manuals cover all three sized FP-NC's as well, and are defined by the control version...In your case Dialog 3.

The electrical/electronic binder (orange book) is dependent on the build level of the large electrical cabinet that is with the machine.
There will be an identification plate riveted just below the main disconnect switch on that large green cabinet....numbers there define the exact schematics that are germane to that machine....

Cheers Ross
