So... after many other projects, I have finally got around to restoring my 1983 Deckel FP4NC. I just got the coolant enclosure bottom back from the powder coater and it looks amazing. I’ll be sending the other parts of the enclosure over next week. I have one big problem. Where do I find the rubber weatherstripping/trim that goes around the windows? Or should I weld studs to the enclosure and hold the new 1/4 polycarbonate panels in with nuts on the studs? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Deckel Doctor in South Carolina might have that, I know Franz Singer in Germany stocks it.
The enclosure on one of my FP4NCs does not have it, the windows are bolted through the front face from the back, no welded studs.

Looking at repainting mine--did you use a certain type of powder coat?

The powder coat is Axalta Powder Coatings - River Texture GS 7035, PFH845R5. It is a light pebble texture with a diamond white sheen. A major German machine tool builder also uses this finish. Will post photos of enclosure after everything comes back.
