GK-12 spindle to fit a GK-21 pantograph?

I have a couple of nice Deckel machines, a 1950's FP-1, an S0 cutter grinder and a GK-21 pantograph; all in good condition and all get used frequently. However, I read somewhere that the GK-12 spindle can fit right into the S0 cutter grinder, this would be a great feature for me. The GK-21 spindle is too large to fit, so any tooling is removed from the spindle and ground separately. Question is, how to fit a GK-12 spindle to a GK-21, before I spend lots of time and money to find a dead end. Was there ever a factory adaptor? How simple would an adaptor be? Just a sleeve? Alternatively, would I need the whole GK-12 spindle and "slider" assembly to fit the GK-21 pantograph arm?
Thanks, Dan

DJ2,

I have a GK-21 pantograph that is regularly used. I also would like to be able to mount the spindle on my Deckel SO grinder. Getting minimal run-out is essential in doing very small work. I have given some thought to fabricating a spindle holder for the SO, but have not yet done it. I will follow this thread.
