MAHO spiral millig attachment

For future reference. This sold on EBay recently for 333 E.
New in box. First time out for these pictures.

As usual with MAHO it looks like it came of a polish design board.

Hmm,

it looks like a combo of index head and spiral milling attachment. With overarm and tailstocks.
At first sight it's quite ugly, but upon closer look it's rather neat.
A coat of 6011 would improve the looks a lot.

Eeh - why not?

My FP2 is original green.
So if I had bought it for myself,
I would consider painting it, but
at first I would see, if I could
stand the colour scheme.

But I think I know what you mean.
This is the original factory paint,
so why not let it be?

About painting,specialy when it is a machine you use yourselve,there are only 2 ways to go in my opinion
1 Don`t do it at all
2 Do a very good job, like new
That means taking the machine apart, filling, smoothing, spraying in the original color
So mostly I don`t do it at all
