Hi everyone,
I had a blown hydraulic seal in my non-fliphead FP2 NC's vertical drawbar.
Since there was a lot of hydraulic fluid underneath the black plastic cover on top of the vertical head and some was running down inside the ISO Taper, I suspect the bearings inside the head need to be regreased.
Are the bearings for the bevel gear and the gear itself on the non-fliphead NC machines grease or oil lubricated?
Should I regrease the needle bearings inside of the quill, too?
What grease would you recommend? Klüber NBU15 or Supertel?
Kind regards,
Markus
