Not exactly european.... but close enough?
I Just acquired my first mill (UK Balding Beaver Pal) and I am looking forward to using industrial strength power tools to mangle metal instead of just a forge, hammer, and anvil.
Currently my mill it sits on a car trailer outside my garage but I did spend all day going over the mill. It needs work but the price and location were both right.
Couple of quick questions... First, does this post belong here? If not please redirect me.
Second, I have looked for a manual and can only find a UK site that wants about $100. for one. Is there a different source? I really need a parts list, diagrams and parts source.
This machine needs a little love and a few parts. Where's a good source of parts for a Beaver?
Are there any members that have/had a Beaver mill?
Thanks in advance. I hate to have my first post include so many questions. I don't know much about milling and I plan to start slow. On the other hand, if anyone wants help on making Damascus steel, knifemaking, leather craft, forging.....
Thanks!
