Unloaded the 1980 Deckel FP3 today...

What a beauty. Ran it for the first time after unloading...I was worried it would be noisy but it's the second quietest Deckel I've ever owned....a nice surprise.

Same machine, only difference I can see is mine doesn’t have a Heidenhain DRO and has a universal table. It lives behind my Monarch 10EE.

I’m having issues with the DC drive I’d gladly pay you for some assistance if you’re interested. I’ve exhausted my level of understanding when it comes to electrical components.

Don't have any first hand with those drives. Had an "Active" FP2 once, but the drive and motor worked as it should, no issues so
i have never been inside the electronics of one of those.
Not opposed to coming by , but i fear i would be little if no help for your problem, sorry.
