It's multilingual (german, english, french italian, spanish, swedish and russian).
I also have a German user's manual, but you already have a digital copy.

And I have a like new tilt/swivel table for an FP3. I l haven't used it, as it weighs 155 kg.
My shop crane isn't there yet and it feels a bit heavy for my FP2.
I'd much rather have a 2037 table (but who wouldn't).
Too bad you're not in Europe - it would probably be too expensive to get it into the US.

    Cheers

    Hi Erik
Yes I would love to get a copy of that parts manual. I will send you a pm with my contact info.

    Thanks

    Hi Milo,

Peter Veltman, who is active on the boards here, has several FP3s in beautiful condition and fairly priced. He also has a sterling reputation (I and others here have purchased from him) and is experienced in shipping stuff around Europe and the UK. Look here:

I have a complete MT4 dividing head setup for a Deckel FP1. This includes an overarm, tailstock, 2, 3 and 4 jaw chucks, faceplate, and more. Problem is, I own an SK40 FP2. So if there is someone out there with an SK40 FP2 dividing head setup who wants to trade for an MT4 FP1 setup, please get in touch.

You mean of course dividing head, overarm, a chuck, the faceplate and a couple of backplates, right?

Hold on to the chucks and the tailstock Bruce, not so easy to find!!

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a FP2 SK40 Sliding Veritcal Head (the long vertical head). If anyone has a one for sale or knows of one for sale, I would love to know about it! I'm in Toronto Canada.

    Thanks!

The tailstock will work with either the MT4 or SK40 dividing head, so that I don't need to trade. And I suppose that the chucks will also work with either head, I just need new mounting plates.

The chuck mounting and face plate setup on the dividing head is completely different between the #4 Morse and the #40 spindles.
On the 40 spindle setup the mount is made with a counter bore that fits over the OD of the dividing head nose. There are 4 set screws through the mount that nest into 4 pockets on the spindle nose...
Also of note (maybe) is that the chuck setup on the dividing head (40 taper) is different in size to the spiral milling attachment spindle...so the chuck form the dividing head will not interchange with the spiral
milling kit...a huge design blunder IMO...

    Cheers Ross

WTB: Deckel FP1 heads: I recently bought a Deckel FP1 MkII, which I am restoring. It only came with the standard vertical head and over-arm horizontal head. In order of importance I am looking for: Slotting Head and Dividing Head, but might be interested in other accessories.

Hey guys, just saw your replies...

From the little I have searched, a full set of chucks for the dividing head is not that easy to find, and the same stands (I think) for the tailstock as well. Making backplates to fit your chucks on the SK40 indexer when you find one seems easier than finding the chucks again

Well, amazingly, that's the single deckel accessory that I have both versions of (MT4 and SK40 that is)... (at least the basic ones, I know there are slight variations in the indexing heads as well...). So, yes, I meant that Bruce will need to make new backplates to fit the chucks.
