Gildemeister CTX 410 Chip Conveyor Won't Go Forward

Our Gildemeister CTX 410 chip conveyor has stopped working, it is giving an alarm,(2159)"chip conveyor monitor triggered". The conveyor will go in reverse when the reverse jog button is held down, but will mot go forward.

Does anyone have any input as to how to fix this issue?

We get that alarm on our CTX if it gets plugged up with chips. There is a switch on the conveyor that trips when it overloads. Flip it to Off and back On and try again.

check for a stuck switch. one of the conveyors had a switch to the overload clutch that would tell the lathe the clutch was being engaged. but after cleaning the plunger switch was gummed up with coolant and wouldn't spring back to the working position. Cleaned all the coolant/oil residue and freed the mechanism and all was working
