Man I thought the transition would be easy. I'm a HAAS, FADAL VMC machinist. Thought buying this Hitachi Seiki HT-25 turning center for the garage would be an easy transition. So after learning how to home the x/z I managed to Z overtravel hard. Really hard. Lol. Initial error codes were 0T007 and EMG Was able to clear the 0T007 but can't get the EMG to go away. I hand turned the ball screw to clear the micro switches putting the ummm head in a clear zone. Checked the microswitches for action. Seem all good. Any assistance would be great.

For anyone who's looked at this post, I figured it out. While turning the ball screw by hand I noticed the drive belt pulley to the motor wasn't turning. There is a, must be safety thrust assembly that disengages pulley from screw. Luckily I had alignment Mark's. Lined them up. Pushed into place. Vualla! EMG went away because signal was met.
