Maho MH 800 E controller issues

I acquired this mill back in July. It was disconnected sometime after may, but was operational up until then. The battery voltage was 7.14 volts and was never disconnected.

During the loading process, the riggers tipped it onto the electrical cabinet. I fired it up and it gave me a bizarre screen of completely random characters. One technician I talked to thought the video cards was good, but wasn't getting any signal from the processor.

Anyway, the riggers and I finally settled the dispute today. I am keeping the machine.

I am looking for any pointers and recommendations to get this thing operational. I would like to keep the current controller(looks like it was retrofitted with a Phillips 432 back in the mid 90's).

If slavaging the controller is out, keeping the DC motors (and drives) would be great.

I got a photo of the screen, as well as some of the unloading.
