Same buddy and same shop. Fixing a little damage to his Mori Mill.
SMAW 1/8" 99% Nickel Rod, 140 Amps.
One pass to fill in, machine to 0.005" proud of surface, reweld. I expected
and got some porosity, reweld, machined to 0.0001" of surface. No porosity
He is going to have his employee stone the surface out, maybe today. I will
post the finished repair when I get the photo.

Don't we all. Hell I would not have time to learn how to use it... It was delivered and
set up this week.
Being a welder with friends who own machine shop has its benefits.

Thanks, here are the pictures once they stoned it out, look nice,
nickel does not color match CI, but at least it is flat again.
