Hi everybody

we have problem with our machine Agie Elox Mondo 20 that give us two Alarm:
E61''the precision interpolate of the Z(x,y) axis failed to carry out the self-test of start-up self diagnostics''.
E55 the dielectric ignited erosion stopped.
what could be the reson of this two alarm???1

First of all,
E61 has to do with the communication between the pacer/fine
interpolator board and the sbc02 board. the pacer board is
plugged into the motherboard in the upper rack. the sbc02 is
in the right side of the lower generator rack. the boards are
connected with a fiber optic cable. check this connection.
Also, reseat all boards in the motherboard (upper rack).
If you could supply a photo of the light pattern of the lower rack boards
it would give me an idea of any other issues.

Hi
first of all thanks for your reply.
you can see the leds on the SBC02 card in the photo attached

The LEDs on the hand box should only
blink at start up and then extinguish.
If they stay on, then here are possible
issues:

1) Defective MIO-20 or MIO-21 board. Depending
on age of machine you will have a MIO-20 or
MIO-21 plugged into motherboard in upper rack.
Reseat this board and check fiber optic connections.

2) Defective motherboard. This is board which all other
boards are plugged into in upper rack.

3) Defective computer power supply. There is a 110VAC input
computer power supply that powers motherboard, Hard drive,
and 5 Vdc for lower rack of boards. The output should be +12vdc
+5Vdc. To check, unplug 4 pin molex connector to hard drive and
power on machine. There should be +5 Vdc between red wire and black
wire directly next to it. Also, there should be 12 Vdc between the
yellow wire and the black wire right next to it.

So sir we made all the checks.
so we found two things: the first issue the fiber optic on the card MIO 20 were damaged and that's why we get the alarm E55 and the hand box blocked.IMG-20210705-WA0000.jpg

the second issue we found a problem on the PFI x/Y on an epron so we repared and now the machine worked for 2 days.

However now after working normally for 2 days it give us an other alarm E48'' short-circuit'' ethier without electrode on the machine.
it detect an short circuit but really we don't have any thing that touch the table!!?
can you sir provide us an explanation?

There is a voltmeter on the front of the control.
When the machine is on and not in erosion this meter
should show about 20vdc. What does it show?

Also is this Mondo a Futura III? Please provide a picture
of the light pattern of the boards on the bottom rack of
the control when the machine is on but not in erosion

Hi Jdd
Thanks for your quick answer,
the voltmeter show 2o vdc.

our machine is Futura III, howover as you said we find a problem on the led''on'' of the power supply in the PDR46 now we are looking on the power part on this PDR 46 in order to resolve this problem!!

thanks i'll let you know what we did with this card.
