As the title says I have a bad upper feed motor. The wire was threading in a jerky form. That last thing I looked at, after cleaning everything think the problem was crud, was this small DC motor at the top of the column. When I took it off and pressed AF wire feed sure 'nuff it turned in spurts.
I found some on line for $250 - $350. My problem is I don't have a Mfg #. I don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks and get the wrong thing. These sellers refer to it as PN# S601899P01. Anybody know of a way I can verify this is the correct #? None of my manuals have it listed.
