    Default Brother batteries

    This is from the brother wedm manual. It sounds risky. I would rather change the batteries while the machine is running.

    Power On for sure in my opinion! Does that use AA batteries like the Speedios and Tapping Centers?

    Yeah. I would say change them with power ON. Just be careful and don't zap yourself in there!

    There are also Two other AA batteries, if this is an HS 70A.
    The three hold the parameter memory while the others hold the programs. I think
