Hi Flipz87:
It looks like a bog standard import wire EDM, about like the Chmer that I own.
Mine has been good for me but it sure ain't no Makino or Charmilles or Agie...it's a Chevy, not a Cadillac.
So if it works you will have a similar experience to mine which has been very good for the prototyping and limited production I do, but for split tenths work forget it!

Does it work?
If it doesn't, can you fix it?
If you can't, do you care about losing a couple of hundred bucks in purchase cost and the cost of rigging and the cost of commissioning (and finding out it's dead) and the cost of getting rid of it again?

If you can say YES to all of these questions you know what to do.
If you say NO to any of these questions you also know what to what to do.

Thanks for responding, it does work. I can afford getting it to my shop and getting it wired up and going within reason, if it has major issues I may decide not to bother later down the road. I am willing to gamble the money.
