    Default Elox Futura Fire Detected

Does anyone know how to get rid of the "fire detected" message on a Elox Futura? I cannot get the machine to start and think that this may be the problem. It has not ran for years but I am hoping to get it to start.

If you know anything about these please share any knowledge of how to start it as well.

    Thanks

Is it a mondo or a mondo star?

Or am I thinking of the wrong machine?

Does it have an external fire system? If so just jumper the 2 wires coming from the unit.

It is a "Futura 100" power cabinet with a "Workmaster 45". I think the Mondo is the model newer than this one.

    Thanks for the reply.

There does not seem to be any type of fire sensor or or external fire system.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hi,

If the user interface is similar to the mondo, you can move the cursor to the top left corner to highlight the page number, then by pressing numbers 4 through 9 (press enter after each number press) and you should find a settings page that will only display when the machine is not in cycle.

On one of those settings pages there should be a tick box setting which says something like “fire detection system present”

    Try toggling that button.

My answer is based on a lot of assumptions of the similarities between the mondo system and your system, so some, none or all of what I said could be wrong,

Let us know what you find
