Default Eurospark H425 P25 Hydraulic oil pressure ?

My H425 P25 sinker EDM is refusing to lower its tank using the hydraulic control, and in testing it occurred to me that I have no idea what pressure this thing runs at. I have three slightly different versions of the manual and none of them make any reference to the pressure other than to increase it in certain circumstances. I don't suppose that it is very high as the plastic hydraulic lines seem to be shrunk onto their fittings.

I'm about to fit a guage but if anyone has a clue what ballpark figure to expect it would be very helpful.

To answer my own question in case any other owner comes this way in the future, having put a pressure gauge on the beast I'm measuring approximately 500 psi.

. . . still not fixed my fault though, but I have started draining the edm fluid so that I can better get at things without drowning

Saw your post on other forum. Interesting machine, did you get it fixed?

yes everything's back together having sorted the issues AND done a test cut. Spent this afternoon shifting it back to it's spot in the workshop - by heck it's a heavy lump - 1250 kgs of shear effort !
