FA20S crash detection

I'm running a FA20S wire EDM and would like to know if there is a parameter setting or a switch that will help detect power changes or crash detection. A few times the material becomes an obstacle and the machine runs right into the park destroying my flush cups and diamond dies. I would like to know if there is a crash detection system on this machine.

Other than software limits that you set, no. NEVER have anything hang below the table and keep the top flush cup above the top of the part. Then the only thing you have to worry about is the slug falling. And strap it if its heavy. Program stop after every slug is cut loose. Go coreless when it makes sense. The machine doesn't run into anything. The operator programs or jogs the machine into an obstruction.

None that i am aware of. Switch to plastic flush cups if you have not already. They can absorb some impact and not be destroyed and will *sort of* protect the guide.
