Graphite machinability

I know graphite cuts very easily, but how easily? I have thus far been unable to find any references on it's % of machinability as compared to 1212 steel (1212 being the standard for machinability, representing 100%). Anyone here have even a rough layman version? Like is it easier to cut than Aluminum? Copper? Lead? If so how much easier, roughly? Does the tool (I know you need special usually diamond encrusted tools) just breeze through it, exerting almost no radial pressure on the machine spindle? Thanks!!!

Your last comment was correct. You can breeze through it with virtually no pressure on the spindle. It cuts very readily, but is very abrasive. I use carbide and it does well, but I never cut any large amounts of this material (only squaring it up or cutting simple shapes). I know if you are cutting it all day long you are going to want diamond encrusted tools.
