Default Internal and external splines EDM

    Hello,

All you EDM guys out there, what "goto" book or information do you use when you have to do a internal or external splines?

I want to do a piece that have 1-3/4 27 splines external and 1-1/4 10 splines SAE-B Class 5-6 inernal in the same piece/sleeve.

I could not find any good info on toleraces and how to draw this?

Nothing to do with EDM. It's a basic question of standards.

Here, let me Google that for you...

I have the 27th edition machinists handbook and there's a section dealing with splines. The 1-1/4-10 is in there, the 27 pitch one isn't but there are a few good pages that have the formulas you would need to make it. Sorry I can't post it from here.
