    Default System Load HELP!

For starters, we have a DWC-200 built in 1987 that we acquired a couple of years ago, and I am trying to reload the system. There's 3 non-sequential disks and one tape labelled "pitch error" that we got from the last owner, and two of the disks are labeled showing different versions of system software, and I can load it onto the machine, but when finally reboot the machine I'm stuck with Japanese language display, metric coordinates, and after powering everything up I still can't move the bed on manual.
Does anyone have any experience with this, and know how to correct any of this? Thanks...
