Good morning guys,

First time posting here but we are in a bit of a bind regarding our FA10S.

During auto-threading the wire will be inserting correctly but the cycle never completes. The guide pipe does not return to the top to allow machine to continue. It would be stuck like this forever until we press the stop button, then the pipe returns.

Obviously this means we cannot currently run any night jobs the machine will be stuck at the first AF Insert.

Any idea whats going on?

Lee,
at the back of the machine is an aspirator pipe (plastic pipe that goes from steel pipe tp just before the pinch rollers). remove it take it apart and clean it. be sure to reconnect the ground wire on the top of the block. this should solve your threading issue, a build up of sludge is preventing the ground from making contact and allowing the cycle to register as complete
