Hello,
We have a Mitsubishi Fx-10, bought in 1997.
It has been refurbished 3 times over the years.
We were in the process of buying a Mitsubishi Wire Edm MV2400 with all the bells and whistles,
but our program manager cancelled our order, saying the FX-10 works just fine.
It does work but is prone to break downs at least 2-3 times a year.
Seems the FX-10 breaks down only when the workload increases.
We have in queue several wire edm projects, perfect timing.
I'm a cnc programmer, before I worked on the floor,
and ran the FX-10 for over 10 years.
Now that said...
We did an origin return XYZ,
we had an alarm M07.
We hit the reset button several times.
Usually we back off on the each axis to clear the alarm in manuel/jog mode.
None of the axis is moving in manuel/jog mode, M07 alarm is not clearing.
I turned the machine off,
turned the machine breaker off
and turned the overhead main breaker off.
After 15 seconds,
Turned on the main breaker.
Turned on the machine breaker.
turned on the machine,
and press ready all good so far.
Still have the M07 alarm,
Hit reset button several times still nothing.
XYZ axis will not move.
Any suggestion, before calling Mitsubishi to come over and fix it.
R Mak
