The yellow one with the down arrow means a user specified maintenance interval is up. On the right side of the Maintenance page is where those are set.
I have one set for 80 hours of on time as a reminder to clean the dust screen on the chiller.

The icon with the sun and snowflake allows you to control summer and winter...it's a novelty item really.

Voltian is correct, the down arrow thing means a service interval on your maintenance page is up.
The sun/snowflake is a thing only on the newer machines. It's some kind of automatic temperature control, it adjusts some things depending on either ambient or DI water temp. No idea if it actually helps anything.
