Sodick AG600L LN2W Control - allow thread to skip tank drain.

We have a part that we run a batch of 5 at a time.

Every part needs to be probed for center and that takes extra time because T91 waits for the tank to drain, but the tank is already drained.

Is there a code we can use on certain threading operations to skip the tank drain time? We don't want to remove tank drain from the normal threading operation because later we do thread repeatedly while the tank is full, and draining a bit first allows threading to be more reliable.

I've never talked to Sodick about a code or setting but if you are at your machine while this is running, you can hit the HALT button after the T91, hit THREAD and start again and it will skip the drain time. Kinda a pain though. Or take out the T91 and just have an M00 and then thread it.

Got a response from Sodick themselves. There is no way to skip the tank drain time on T91 in code. You can turn off tank drain time but it is so useful for other thread ops while the tank is full. Oh well.

This won't really help save much time, but if your upper head is low enough, M36 is tank door half way and M46 is up all the way.

If someone is actively at the machine while its probing for the setup I just set a M00 and use the thread button there's no drain time for it.
