    does anyone here have a manual for a orbitcut head and perhaps a sample program for a actspark SP100 that would spark a thread

    Is that the manual or the CNC orbicut?

    I ask as I’ve cut threads on both the manual and CNC versions. Both on Hurco 900 mk2 manual sparkers.

    In both cases I lowered the z down to depth. Locked the head and work completely on orbit to servo the crap out and work round the diameter.

    Intermittently stopping, taking the electrode out the hole and cleaning to prevent build ups. Those old machines loved to burn up 😬
