Closed or open loop ? Would want either new, or pristine used (eBay or HGR ?)

Surprising no one here seems to know about these.. maybe forget sizing, but just point out who sells appropriate chillers for sinker EDM ?

    Hi Milacron:
My Hansvedt sinker has an Elkay chiller on it.
It looks to be a 9 gallon per hour unit.
My machine is a 25 amp machine...I assume the chiller was factory sized for that output power and you can safely extrapolate from the maximum spark energy rating for your machine.
Here is a link to what's on mine:
    Elkay Remote Chiller, ER101Y

Hopefully that information is of some use...at least it's a starting point.

    Cheers

I know this doesn't answer your question but we have a Star 20 and 50. Been running them for 15 years with no chiller. ...maybe i'm not running them hard enough.
