I cut steel and aluminum but also a good amount of superalloy castings. Most are nickle based but some are Cobalt based. We currently use bare wire but I'm wondering if moving to a zinc coated with would net an improvement of cut time. Any suggestions?
We currently use .01 wire but I'm working on also getting .012 as well. The castings have intricate veins in them that can have fairly small gaps and we need to split them at times that's why I'm staying with 10 and 12.
