Default Anybody use a Mifco McEnglevan Speedy Melt mp36 forge / crucible melt furnace?

I just ended up with one of these furnaces, looks to be in great shape but there is no crucible base block. I looked at the manual (which is more of a service rather than operations guide) and I'm trying to figure out what height block to get or at what height the rim of the crucible should be in relation to the underside of the top firebricks. Anyone here ever use one of these units?
