Dimple Die for oval or other solution?

Hi brand new here, but wondering if you guys can help. I have a fabricator working on a project for me and he’s having some difficulty. What we’re trying to do is emulate a Ferrari F12tdf exhaust tip assembly. The issue he’s having is getting the rolled edge on the holes where the tail pipes go in the perforated steel as in the original. He has a round dimple die, but given that the perforated piece is at an angle to the pipes going through, the cross section on the perforated piece is an oval. Any ideas other than having a custom dimple die made (impractical for a single use here) to get the same rolled edges on the perforated steel? Thanks.

is the first pic what you are trying to mimic? The second pic must be your car, the slope of the perforated is not anywhere close to the slope of the Ferrari in pic 1 so just dimle the part and try it I am sure it will look great since the perf is almost 90º to the pipes.

Yes the pics are as you guessed. the slope on the perforation piece on my car is actually a little more than this pic seems to represent, but perhaps you are right to try a round dimple die and angle the tip if you can as needed to stay perfectly horizontal with the ground level when it is finally tacked on to the perforated piece. I'll check with him and see what he thinks. thanks for your input. Added a couple pics so you can see how the Ferrari tips are done.
