I'm cleaning up a Havir Press-Rite obi press, No 0, the little 5 ton one, and I'm new to this type of machine, will probably call things by the wrong words. I have taken the crankshaft-pitman-flywheel off the machine. I want to get the flywheel off the crankshaft so that I can get to the bushing on the eccentric. It seems to be worn pretty badly, since the pitman deflects to the right under pressure. In the attached photo, I think I am looking at a flange nut holding a large washer, and that I can get the flywheel off if I can get the nut off. Don't know whether it is right or left hand thread, and don't want to put too much force on it without knowing. Stuck so far. Does anybody know how to get that off, or have an assembly drawing, or have other advice? Thanks.
Edit: problem solved: 12 hours after a squirt of PB Blaster, it turns out to be a left hand thread.
