Default Found a use for worn mig gun tips

Had to attach a dozen small tabs in a precise location.
A small all steel c-clamp would have worked.
If I slipped with the puddle(mig)then I would have had to carefully extract said clamp from the part.

Attached is a pic of a modification I did to a spring clamp rod.
Particular threaded rod is 3/8-24, mig tip is 1/4" od
I drilled a 1/4" hole in the end 1/3 distance of the length of a mig gun tip
Tapped in place threaded end first
Helped me prevent from welding the clamp tip to the work, and its cheaply replaceable

Don't forget plasma cups, electrodes, and drag shields.
