Guifil press bucks

I’ve got a small up-acting Guifil press that, when you press the foot pedal lightly, ‘bucks’ the ram until you press harder and get the ram moving. Can anyone point me towards info on how the hydraulic system works and if there are any adjustments that would correct this?

Check the oil level it could be air bubbles compressing.

Does your machine have a automated control system on it? It can play tricks some time. Pretty simple hydraulic system.

I had one that would buck also. And I just learn to feather the foot control.
