We're working on a small product, about 2"x4". These get laser cut out of 1/4" aluminum. Each part is 3 pierces and 22.1 inches of cut. Yield is 918 per 5x10 sheet, and we're buying in full sheet quantities.
The pricing we're getting from our various laser vendors is all over the place. Most pricing is upwards of $1000 per sheet on top of the material cost. With my limited knowledge of laser pricing, this seems high. What do the people who actually do laser cutting think?
Alternatively, does anyone have any recommended vendors? Shipping would be cheap, you could pretty much pack a full sheet in two flat rate boxes.
Thanks
