I just saw the picture of that hypertherm BBQ and it got me worried I just got a miller dynasty 200DX. Long story short I've got some 6awg temp cord approx. 30' wired right into my 220 single phase panel with a 70amp breaker for my thermal arc cutmaster 100, 50 amp twist lock plug ends do I need to be concerned. I just turned it on for the first time last night. everything seemed just fine. I don't want to have to switch out the breaker back and forth and my panel is all filled up thanks.

At 220v single phase you should be OK. Its really when people put the dynasty on 480v 3 phase on a 100 amp breaker is where it is dangerous. I think the Dyn 200 pulls 10 amps at 480v 3 phase. Some insanely low number.

Hey!
I know I'm Not Macona !!
But
Isn't the max Amps on a 200 Dynasty a lot less than 70 ?
Thanks!

The Dyn 200 will pull about 35 amps at max output on 230 single phase. So a 40 amp breaker would be ideal.

I suppose you could always put a small fuse box in line.
