I have a Miller 351 Syncrowave welder that I bought new in 1995. It's been a great welder but now I'm having problems. All of a sudden, it began blowing holes in the material being welded when the pedal was activated and some times melting the tungsten. It was if the total amperage was being applied at one time. I replaced the potentiometer and then the micro switch. The welder would work for awhile and then some times, the amperage would not increase when the pedal was pushed all the way and now it's back to blowing holes again. Called Miller two or three times but they just put me on hold and had me listen to their ads. Has anyone had this problem with their 351 ?
