Nifty Horizontal Press Brake but is it usefull

There are several manuf's of these.

Many times called a "Bulldozer"

And some people here even cobble up their own.....:skep:

seems like this would be great for tube bending for custom automotive exhaust and wrought iron fencing work
 
we have sure have progressed, but love that old pic, belt drive and the pinion gear and the bull gear, very cool
notice they are using tongs
 
It's vertical, not horizantal.

It was horizontal laying on the table when I first cobbled it together for a job.

Then I added pipe sockets to put legs under it.....

And yes, it is VERY handy.
I simply walk over, snap it on, make some chalk marks on the "back" to position the part,
adjust the HF $10 dial indicator for "down stop" and I'm banging out parts.

I have a NIB 8" dia. x 10" stroke cylinder laying around, I want to build a "nice one" just like the OP's linked.
