    I've done that in the past. If you use an H.F. grinder frequently, they will last 3-4 months. When you throw them in the can, make sure to cut off the cable and save it if you ever need one.

    I have a U.S.-made DeWalt that is at least 15 years old and it still going after quite a bit of use. The only thing I ever did to t was to open it up and add some grease.

    If I ever buy another one, I'll get a Metabo or a Makita.
