Preheat 4130

Fellow welders,
Problem: here in Maine it has and still is pretty cold and I have to start tacking up a frame that isn't in a heated building. Sooo I was going to wait until the outside temp reached 50 and then start. any help on this. its mostly 4130 tubing say .035 and up wall.

If this frame will be post weld heat treated. It will not really matter.

Thin wall 4130 tubing does not really need a preheat, however since your saying your in maine, and i know they are getting snow...I would say to get it up above 50 or 60 degrees to prevent the formation of undesireable microstructures.
