I have 240V and I need a 480V step up transformer to power a Hypertherm Powermax 125. I will generally be running the machine at 100amps or below for 10 minute intervals on my CNC table. There will be occasions where I might need to cut thicker plate at 120amps.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

The link you proved also has the manual.

The manual says 21.9 KVA

Get a 3phase xformer at least 25 kva (30 kva is more common)

240 to 480 is very common and you should be able to find something used very easily.

Thank you very much. I looked over the manual but completely missed that part. I really appreciate the help.
